I like it quite a bit so far, some really solid work.

I wanted to download that, but I don't think I can stand that man much.

Haven't really been downloading much this week, been taking some time to appreciate some of the stuff I don't spin nearly as much as I should. However there have been a few things that have floated my way, and here they are.
In The Woods... - Omnio Pretty much Green Carnation without Tchort, they do have a sound of their own, however the styles between the two groups are pretty similar... probably due to the fact that they're more or less the same band minus a member here and there. Arch Enemy - The Root Of All Evil Not their strongest work, however it wasn't a bad album. Some of the songs felt uninspired like they were just playing through the motions, but a few really did stand out. Sleepy Sun - Embrace I was sent this album by someone who's almost never steered me wrong so I didn't not bother to do a background check on this band, also the album art appealed to me. Guy Clark - Somedays The Song Write You The lovely savannah was kind enough to send this album my way. I am only familiar with Mr. Clark by reputation so I am looking forward to finally hearing something by him as well as hopefully adding him to my ever growing list of awesome Country albums for 2009. |
