VoiVod - Infini This one seemed to slip by me this summer, however I have now and all is good. Amon Amarth - With Oden On Our Side Gave Twilight of the Thunder Gods and Fate Of Norns a spin yesterday back to back and decided to expand on my Amon Amarth collection. |

I first heard this upon release and thought it was awful. How times change. It's brilliant brutal Black Metal. They are supporting Porcupine Tree when I see them on Saturday and I have their debut, so I thought I should checkout their latest. It's Okay but runs out of steam quickly. Sort of commercial atmospheric rock with a hint of shoegaze: I only had the album Royal Society and liked it and then discovered their debut. Punky psychobilly FTW.
