Hahaha.

I'm figuring the bouncers might find the monocle overkill and see right through my plans.

Hmm... you should bring a pair of opera binoculars to compensate.

The name made me chuckle and he's friends with Hank Williams III so I figured it was worth a try.

Kammerflimmer Kollektief - Cicadidae

Some dark jazz I was recommended, I find it helps with writing and I've got mid terms coming up.

I think it would drain the energy from me. They are both pretty intense albums. I think i would need something a little lighter and a little less relentless before i got to the end.

Interesting. I have to say I don't find either album super-intense but it's always fascinating how different people respond to the same music.

It's the same with a lot of sludge or drone for me. Thats probably my preference when it comes to metal but if i were to play some of these bands back to back then i would likely need something a little mellower or maybe poppy to follow.

Well that Kammerflimmer Kollektief album was wank, I'm starting to get a little annoyed with the stuff last.fm has been recommending me lately. Seems I've worked my way through all the good stuff and now it's just recommending me the crap. Anyhow I think these three will be my last of the night:

Immortal - All Shall Fall

Follow up to 2002's amazing album Sons Of Norther Darkness and it's just as good. Really shows how they've matured as a band as their sound is far more controlled while still being just as abrasive.

The Builders and the Butchers - The Builders and the Butchers

The album artwork looked intriguing so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Th Legendary Shack Shakers - Swampblood

Been meaning to look up these guys for awhile now, decided to try their newest album and work my way back if it appeals to me.

Hope those both worked out well for you! Interesting that you chose the first one by cover art impression... there's something to be said about the correlation between creative artwork and creative music... usually the more creative cover art goes hand in hand with something interesting musically...
