As long as it's better than MPP. That's all I really care about.

Went on a small spree last night, checking some of the things that last.fm has been recommending me for ages.
Mr. SOS - The Pre-Op (EP) Just like Braille and Tonedef I know this MC from his work with Southern Hip Hop group CunninLynguists. Finally got around to checking out his first solo studio album and it's pretty good so far. He's got a nice flow and writing style and his voice is very unique so it helps him stand out nicely. Stolen Babies - There Be Squabbles Ahead Group similar to Diablo Swing Orchestra so I decided to give them a try. Unexpect - In A Flesh Aquarium Very similar to Stolen Babies and I found their album cheap so I'm taking a chance... Riverside - Rapid Eye Movement Progressive metal group from Poland I've been meaning to check out for awhile, finally getting around to it. Dale Cooper Quartet & The Dictaphones - Parole de Navarre Apparently a darker jazz group like Bohren & Der Club of Gore or Kiliminjaro Darkjazz Ensemble. Morbid Angel - Covenant Still continuing my quest at familiarizing myself with the original American Death Metal. |

Haven't heard this for 20 years but still hold's up very well. Classic Thrash:
Fairly commercial but still very good Folk/Blues rock. Like a heavy Neil Young. Cadence Weapons first. Hip Hop with a hint of Glitch and computer game type sounds. Damn good. My second CW in a month: Not quite as good 'Y' but still a phenomenal dischordant Post Punk Funk mash up:

A Place to Bury Strangers- Exploding Head Thanks to my man loose lips. Geto Boys- We Can't be stopped Some good tracks on here but for the most part it's horribly average and laughable, such as 'I'm Not A Gentleman'. Bought: It also comes with a dvd on how they made it and recorded it, inspiration for songs ect. Really cool. Radiohead- Street Spirit [reissue] I always feel like such a badass walking out of a store with a vinyl record under my arm.
