The Temptations - Sky's The Limit (1971) A psychedelic soul opus full of miraculous music; can't believe I ever wrote The Temptations off as just mere Motown pop, cause they're pretty darn amazing. Peter Gabriel - Up (2002) Mr. Genesis-'Shock The Monkey' meets post-2000 Radiohead and births some rather wicked progeny. Me likey!! Dead Can Dance - Within The Realm of a Dying Sun (1987) Got this based on Zarko's thread, and I think it's fucking awesome on every count. I think I'll be checking out the rest of their discography reallllll soon!

I thought I had pretty much everything by Ministry and realised I was missing this. Love that cover:
I didn't realise how good this was Classic film and soundtrack:

16 Volt - FullBlackHabit Industrial isn't really my niche so purists may not like these guys but I think they're pretty good. Mar De Grises - Draining The Waterheart Death/Doom band somebody sent me, have yet to listen to it though. Yppah - They Know What Ghost Know Another album that was sent to my inbox on another forum, have yet to listen to it but the album art looks intriguing. |
