Life is short, I'll never spend a moment of it listening to stuff I don't like. So fi you don't like what I buy then start buying CD's for me or shut up.

I wish I could just go out and buy mediocore cds and not think anything of it. I only buy stuff I think I'll love and when I hate it I'm pissed.

It's all about perspective and setting restrictions.

Have some some diea (no matter how vague0 about what you want to buy, browse around pickin stuff as you go. Come check out time you can:
1) buy the CD you think you'll like the most
2) buy the CD you think you'll love the most
3) buy them all
4) choose the cheapest ones but the rest in your bag and walk out.

Option number 4 is the reason I could never work at a Tower Records. . And minimum wage is still to low for me to live off.

PS: I don't like AudioSlave. I just find that I'll like enough of their songs that it's worth owning their CD.

You rather have a bunch of cds that are generic and just bleh than a handfull of amazing ones? I really just don't understand. I look for the cheaper stuff but if I don't really like that band I won't buy it. A lot of times I luck out and find the real good stuff for real cheap. And, stop shopping at Tower Records, they're the root of that's evil. Find a used cd store. You'll save money...

surely an amazing but expensive CD is better than a crap cheapo one?

i buy alot of CDs/vinyl.. too many infact. about 3/4 a week on average the past 6 months. alot of them are blind buys... i liked the name, label, artwork or description. i cant remember a time when i wish i hadnt. and its not because i settle for average music - im incredibly picky. i just know exactly what to look for - and price does not come into it.

having said that i havent bought that much recently! 3 records in the past week. hmm.

I wasn;t being snoty with my past remark at all.. I was saying it cause I would dot he say thing.. I have Elton Johns Grestest hits for ex. and well all of his songs aren't good, and some are complete crap made for people who have no taste.. yet some are pretty good, so it was worth buying for the fact that i liked a fair bit of songs..its easy listening.. I'd buy a cd and only like the band or the songs 80% rather then listen to Zeppelin being over played on the radio all the time.

oh yea, I'd buy you cd's if i could but i'm poor so i can't....

I just bought the new UnderOath album today "Define the Great Line" I love it except for the track that is just a psalm read in Russian, that was a bad idea. The album art is really cool and there is a lot of it. The CD case is awesome. New UnderOath is so different from old UnderOath but I like the direction they are going in with this album.
