OK X: A Tribute to OK Computer- Various Artists
Some pretty good covers Vampire Weekend' Exit Music) on here and some pretty awful one (I'm looking at you Paranoid Android) but most of the time it seems that the bands on here are trying to hard to sound as artsy and weird as the original in which they fail at. Also while listening to the album I'm often strucken with the urge to just put on the original, I don't know if that's what tribute albums are supposed to make you do but if so this one nails it.

Our old friend Loose Lips recommend this to me, so I'm bound to like it.

Screamadelica by Primal Scream

On first listen it seems decent. Enjoyed Movin'On Up, Slip Inside This House, Damaged and Shine Like Stars.

The Rolling Stones influence is, to be fair, a little obvious, but a welcome one nonetheless.

But damn, some songs on this album just drag. "Come Together" just goes on, and on, and on...

I'll give it another try tomorrow.

Tchock? Is that a Thom Yorke reference I see?

He left the MB group on lastfm. I assumed that meant he was done with the site.

Arcade Fire EP

Decidedly mediocre. And this coming from a person who loves Funeral to death.

Highlights from Wagner's Ring cycle

Only through Die Walkure so far. I love the stuff from Die Walkure, not so much the bits from Das Rheingold.
