My first Zappa. Having some trouble getting into it.

Excellent choral music. I might see this in concert in July.

Just put Willie The Pimp on repeat for about 500 times.

I found Hot Rats to be the easiest Zappa album to get into.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I actually found Willie the Pimp to be the hardest track to get into on Hot Rats. Peaches en Regalia and Son of Mr. Green Genes were pretty instant though.

Anyways, went down to the public library and found these babies:

Frank Zappa- Trance-Fusion

Santana-Abraxas

Aesop Rock- None Shall Pass

Burning Spear- Marcus Garvey

Already got these on MP3 but got them on CD today:

His second album remastered.

70 minutes of music to shag to basically.

He's the latest artist I discovered last week so I just had to buy this 2007 release. Sounds even better on a Hi Fi.

I was planning on getting all 3 FFD today but my local indie only had the live 4 track EP so I had to settle for that and I'm not paying high street prices so they ordered them for me.

This was also the first Zappa album I heard. I thought it was weird as fuck but still really enjoyed it. I've only listened to it a couple of times though. I then went out and bought 'Cheap Thrills' and wasn't overly impressed.

Few better feelings than when that album (or 20) you've been waiting for all week drops through the door .
This came the other day and I couldnt wait to stick it on.
