Great compilation cd. Even though R.E.M. is an album band this remastered version rocks.

Been revamping my Talking Heads discography today with those uber-cool remasters;

Very good, actually so far it's my favorite of his albums.

Kansas - Leftoverture (1976)

Decided to give Kansas another chance, and I've found myself surprisingly enjoying this seminal work more than I expected. It's not nearly as pompous as the majority of radio-styled AOR beyond "Carry on Wayward Son", though even that classic rock staple is pretty tolerable compared to anything Styx did. Kudos goes to the prominent usage of the Moog, which is always a cool thing in my book.

Quantum Fantay - Ugisiunsi (2007)

Belgian space/psychedelic rock group who take a heavier approach to instrumental cosmic noise than, say, the Ozric Tentacles or Hidria Spacefolk. They keyboards are especially prominent and are complimented by all sorts of wonderful things like flutes and bongo drums, along with Rush-esque drumming and guitar n' bass work. Highly recommended to space rock fans everywhere on MB!

i'm guessing you're not a big fan of the vocals? that's what i usually get when one of my friends can't get into them

Just got the new Dylan. Heard a lot of really good and really bad things about it so thought I'd see what the fuss is all about. From what I've heard so far, definitely doesn't sound as good as some of the stuff he wrote decades ago, but hey, the dude will never stop writing music.
