:Of The Wand & The Moon: - Sonnenheim (2005) A fine, fine album that sits squarely in the Industrial Folk genre, glittering all the while with the kind of dread you'd expect from some black metal record. Strangely beautiful, though it should be anything but... Paladin - Charge! (1972) Very early prog. with African percussion+lots of blues and country influences, occasionally drifting into psychedelia and jazz-fusion territories. The artwork by Roger Dean is always a plus in my book also. Great shit!

Universal Congress Of - The Sad and Tragic Demise of Big Fine Hot Salty Black Wind (1990) another product of SST, closely related to Saccharine Trust and Joe Baiza. supposedly the most jazz-influenced group of the era. i'm excited to see what the results are.
