Lizzy Mercier Descloux - Press Color (1979)

Post-punk album from a unique French girl who apparently happened to pioneer the worldbeat genre sometime later. Very simple guitar rhythms overlaid with vocals.

Massacre - Killing Time (1982)

AMG tagged it as 'experimental', 'post-punk', and 'thrash.' Apparently it's supposed to be an enormous product of the early '80s New York scene. Oh, and the band members: Bill Laswell, Fred Frith and Fred Maher.

I'm looking forward to seeing if it's anywhere near as good as I think it is.

kings of leon - only by the night
(A+ album in my opinion)
my favorite tracks are as follows: sex on fire, use somebody, be somebody, closer, revelry

check it outtt... if you're into alternative and amazing male vocals
