Went to a music shop yesterday that was having this blow out sale on used CD's...picked up some stuff I wanted and some stuff I'd never heard before, but looked interesting. Here goes:
David Bowie - Heathen
Jimmie Lunceford - Jazznocracy
Fugees - The Score
Lost Highway Soundtrack
Peter Gabriel - So
Q-Tip - The Renaissance
Toad the Wet Sprockets GH
Commitments Sountrack (I lost my other copy )
Salt N Pepa - Very Necessary

Lost Highway soundtrack is always good.

I got a copy of Lisa Hannigan's album "Sea Sew."

It's pretty good stuff, definitely caught on with more through a second and third listen.

I got a hard copy of that SR album for my birthday, the damn Icelanders put it in an oddly shaped case that doesn't fit with the rest of the CDs on my CD shelf.

Beautiful AND talented. You want to hear what the british folk scene is like? Listen to Kate Rusby.

"Thank You Arms & Fingers" by 1994!
"Aliens, Blizzards, and Thieves", "Peter & Craig/Letters In Binary Split", "Beezout's Identity/Peter & Craig Split" by Peter & Craig, if that makes any sense
"Their Dreams Are Dead But Ours Is The Golden Ghost" by Slingshot Dakota
