Wild Pink - A Billion Little Lights

Based on this Pitchfork review (which gave it a whopping 7.6), it was supposed to be a cross between War on drugs and Death cab for cutie. Bored me to tears. Undistinguishable from a billion other bedroom lo-fi indie projects from 20 years ago. Nice album cover though.

Fuga Di Luce by Vittorio Marino

I have recently discovered that a Creel Pool discography file was re-upped as well as a separate host containing almost 1500 library music albums. This is very exciting for me, as i live for this kind of shit.

It will take me a lifetime to comb through it all, but a commonality between the two lists is this one so i tried it first. It's a very pleasant, subtle bit of swaying synth. Some parts remind me of Cluster ("Gioco Per Bambini Gioiosi"). Very up my alley

Jimmy "Duck" Holmes - Cypress Grove (2019)

Quote:
72-year-old bluesman Jimmy “Duck” Holmes’ new album, the Dan Auerbach produced Cypress Grove, captures the raw, explosive sound of real Mississippi Juke-Joint Blues today. Cypress Grove is an aural postcard of a typical Saturday night at Holmes’ Blue Front Café, America’s longest operating juke joint. The album is anchored by tradition — which is natural, since Holmes is the last of the original torchbearers of the rural style known as Bentonia blues—but it’s also explosive, raw, and unpredictably in the moment.
10/10

Just discovered a early 70s group prog folk called Comus.Been listening to 'First Utterance' 1971,the last couple of days. It's definitely an acquired taste but lots of great flute and female harmonies in there.Original vinyl goes for almost £1000 as does a lot of late 60s/early70s prog/folk stuff.
