The little bits of beauty in between the mad dissonance make this one of my favorite DB releases. |

The debut album from Taiwanese duo "Mong Tong" which was recorded in their home studio. Instrumental psychedelic space-pop with a chill vibe. It didn't make much of an impression on me during my first listen but I'll give it a couple more spins before I decide if it's a tosser. |

He has such an intimidating discography. Do you have a top five or just five that you’ve taken to?

I last got 3 records
1) Richard Marx - First album 2) Robert Palmer - Pride 3) Kool and the gang - Ladies Night Every song is excellent on all three of these but Richard Marx is insane for 1987! (It could sound better but its OK) On Side 1 I only did not know 1 song (Lonely heart) and on side 2 I hadnt heard any but They are all good too..... Wow I think this is the latest record I have gotton that is so good!!!! I mean R kellys double record (1995) sounds good but thats R&B and a PROMOTIONAL COPY so that one is probably mixed analogue on purpose....... I cant believe all the songs on side 1!!!! -- I didnt recognise any titles (Except hold on to the nights) Should have known better Dont mean nothing Endless summer nights Oh my lord...... I cant believe this was in the dollar bin!!! (I guess they didnt think anyone likes Richee) |

Hold On, We're Strummin' by David Grisman and Sam Bush
One of the worst wastes of talent I’ve ever wasted an afternoon on.
