There was a UK edition of "Raw Power" that I found on the "White Trash Soul" blogspot back in 2011. I downloaded a copy and although I haven't listened to it for a couple of years or more, I remember it sounded much better to me than any other version I'd ever heard. It looks like it was removed from the blogspot but I'm pretty sure I still have it on my external hard drive.

Went to my city's fall record show today looking for one specific LP and snagged a white label promo first press of it! Dr. John's Babylon completes my collection of ATCO Dr. John releases.

This album is on the list to be reissued for the first time on vinyl since its original 1969 release as a Black Friday First edition, with a larger run scheduled for wide release following the holiday. I'm just glad to snag a shiny clean original promo at a great price.

A real pleasure to have it at last!
