Variations - Nador (1969) The debut album from "Variations" out of France. Hard rock that sounds like a combination of Free/Humble Pie/Grand Funk Railroad. Definitely dated but worth a listen if you dig that type of rock. |

If there's a Waylon album to listen to back to front then that's probably it, but it doesn't have this, his most god tier song.

The Allman Brothers Band - Mountain Jam (Bear’s Sonic Journals, Fillmore East, February 1970) A recent live Allman Brothers Band album from the vaults of Owsley Stanley, audio engineer, soundman for the Grateful Dead, and LSD chemist. Not quite as mind-blowing as the classic "At Fillmore East" album that the band released in 1971 but still well worth a listen. |

This one was just released today. The second album from "Combo Chimbita" out of NYC. I can't say I dig it nearly as much as their debut but it has some interesting moments. 7/10 |
