I don't mind full albums, but it's rare that I like that much of a particular album. I think the last full album I listened to without skipping anything was "Foiled" by Blue October. Usually I end up getting bored with a song here and there, and skip it.

I can be very moody and particular about what music I want to listen to. Spotify hates me (and I hate it) because of that "YOU ALREADY SKIPPED THREE SONGS ******* YOU CAN'T SKIP NO MO'!" feature. I like YouTube, because I can skip around at a whim and play whatever I want, when I want.

It's not all albums that play well in full. I've got folders on my computer with good songs I've kept from albums that were super inconsistent.

Try the album mentioned above (or don't, but for what it's worth, I think it's great all the way through)

Very odd messages coming from the Hardy Fox/Charles Bobuck camp.
It appears that "The Residents" founder may have some kind of brain cancer -
of which he is in a somewhat delirious state where he's been already posting
his birth-death dates next to his name (1945-2018).
I guess it wasn't called The Cryptic Corporation for nothing...

That's ****ing amazing and makes me feel guilty for never having listened to the Residents.

Yeah, it's kinda sad, but interesting in a kind of "Residents" way.
On a favorite forum, I brought this thing up about his birth-death dates
being stuck on his Bandcamp pages and a guy there wrote him to find out what's up.
The answered email had him saying in a kind of whimsical manner that he has
"something in my brain that will last to a brief end ... Brains go down ..."
and that the doctor has him on drugs ... and other stuff about
"reducing a lot of old Bandcamp stuff. If you need titles grab now..." and
sending a batch of other things to Klanggalerie for them to sort thru, and on, and on...
In an interview last year, he only mentioned not being able to tour anymore
because of severe arthritis and general older-age wear-and-tear, but I have to think
that things have gotten worse. I'm guessing that he's in hospice.

At least he can still come across as a morbidly humorous weirdo online. Imma go check out an album or two before the day is done.

Still haven't got this yet as I haven't had chance but I assume you both liked it?

I like how I have to look at the cover for an extended period to find it weird that Prince is looking at himself in the mirror like a cat staring down a rival.
