F♯ A♯ ∞ by Godspeed You! Black Emperor

despite these guys being kinda doinks and the band's sound helping spawn the lamest brand of post-rock offshoots, this is still a superb album. don't listen to them as much as I used to (and haven't even heard their newest one from last year at all) but they still hold water whenever I do. didn't "get" this album when i first heard it, but its had a strong hand in where my music tastes have veered to. probably prefer Lift Yr Skinny Fists... but fuck me up if the beginning of "Dead Flag Blues" isn't perfect

The previous album just might be called (or not):

Khao Suan Thurian Railway Station - All Great Truths Begin As Blasphemies.

The album below is not.

I'm guessing that it's not a Jay-Z album.

Might be the newness but atm it's my fav of their albums. And that's a high-ass mark.

I kind of feel the same way. It's a jaw dropper.

Imagine a cleaner, more melodic, Island-version “Last Poets.”
