I don't think I've bought, or listened to, an album/CD since about 1975. However, a friend of mine and I are making a CD of Christian songs we've written, and you'll all need to buy one.

Bought several CDs on Amazon this evening:
Alela Divine & Wild Divine Mentioned it in my journal a couple days ago. Warsaw Village Band - Infinity Several of you know this group already. I love the one album I have with them (People's Spring), so it seemed about time to get another one. Maylee Todd - Escapology I posted this music video a long while ago in my journal. Have been returning to that video a lot because it's such a great song. Time to get the album! Barbara Morgenstern - "Fan No. 2" and "The Grass is Always Greener" I like her music enough that I've decided to get all of her albums. Got three already and they're all solid-to-great. Check her out if you like indie electronica. Beth Orton - Trailer Park I ordered this one two days ago. Singer/songwriter album with a sort of americana vibe to it. Seems to draw a bit on both country, blues, folk music and more modern songwriters. Some of the songs are a bit long for the genre, since she plays a bit more with atmosphere than most similar artists. Stuff that I considered but didn't buy: - Various Bryan Ferry albums that I don't have. - That 801 Live album Lisnaholic want's me to check out. - A Tamikrest album that I'm curious about. - The only Crystal Viper album that I'm missing (Metal Nation). |

We Must Become the Pitiless Censors of Ourselves by John Maus this guy plays here later this month and decided to check him out incase I was interested in catching the show. this is the only album ive heard and gotta say its pretty good. kinda moody (but catchy) synth-pop. "Hey Moon" is the clear standout track here. I know hes got a couple new albums released this year and last so probably going to dig into him a bit more |

Owen Pallett | Heartland Loving up on this album. Songwriting, Owens voice, lavish orchestral instrumentation equal up to an album that begs to be listened too. Baroque is not normally a genre I actively seek out, but this guy's changing my look of it. He's also Canadian, which is a hard pill to swallow, but his talents immense.
