I knew this guy songs before i even knew who he was. I've been obsessing over the musical arrangement of I got a name and it turns out this guy did it and when i listened to this and heard time in a bottle i was like: "damn, he did that too?" same with New york is not my home, I've heard traces of his music in pop culture without knowing the man behind it but he's got a name, it's Jim Croce. Im starting with his hits cause i dig this album but then i'll move up to his individual albums. I welcome any suggestions you guys might have on those.

2 CD's:
The Agonist - Lullabies for the Dormant Mind I really like the newest couple albums with this band, but I've been avoiding their earlier albums with Alissa White-Gluz on vocals. Turns out I think it's an allright album. The vocals are entirely tolerable to me, but not much more. It's the music that's the real draw here and I like the guitar playing a lot. Not nearly as good as their two newest records with Vicky on vocal, but the aspects of those two albums that I love are still present here in some ways. Kobra and the Lotus - Prevail II They put out the prequel to this album just last year and I loved it. I'm hoping this sequel will be as memorable and fun to listen to. |

I seem to remember that sounding like slower and heavier Ramones. It was good if memory serves.
