Originally meant to be broadcast almost exactly 70 years ago today,
but was banned by French radio. Later, it was privately broadcast to
an invited audience in an abandoned cinema in late February, 1948.

Listening to Wolfgang Voigt's Gas recordings in the car
(gonna see him next month) and started thinking of our
old friend Bill Basinski who's seemed to have gain some
notoriety in the past decade. My wife and I haven't seen
him in about 40 years, but when we do, we might ask him
if he'll be continuing in this direction for very much longer.

I've been sleeping on Bandcamp for a long time, but now I'm all about using it to find all the most savage metalcore out today. It's been a while since I've actually been spending money on music tbh. Malice at the Palace are crushing metallic hardcore with an EP that's buffed to album length with a bunch of live tracks that actually have solid production to make this nearly as good as a full album.

Tim Buckley - Greetings from L.A. (1972)

Enjoyed most of it (Move with Me, Make it Right, Hong Kong Bar, and Nighthawkin' in particular). The further it leaned into Sir Douglas Quintet or Honky Chateau sort of territory the more I liked it. Anybody out there known of some other good n greasy honky rock albums?
