Lou Reed - Berlin

It's taking awhile to grow on me, but I can already see I'm going to like this more and more.

I like it, and I can tell that its a real grower, and after enough listens I'll probably LOVE it, thing is alot of the other albums I got are much more immediate, so I've been listening to Deerhunter and Can over and over again. It'll take at least a month for me to fully embrace it.

Although I'm seeing them live on thursday, and I'm sure that will help with my appreciation of it.

It's a crazy mess half the time but the hooks are starting to sink in, especially on the Bird Flu the beats are insane but very infectious, must sound awesome live. It's also home to easily one of the best songs i've heard in recent times, Paper Planes, definitely worth a listen.

^^^Hit and miss for me. "Paper Planes" and "Come Around" were really good. "Jimmy" and "Bird Flu" are really catchy as well, but I couldn't stand the tracks like "Bamboo Banga" and such.

"20 Dollar" is pretty good too, as is the Timbaland track, but I got the album because of Papaer Planes, so I was excpecting a little bit more.
