I really don't understand why anyone would waste their money on a Liam Gallagher record.
And yes, that Sylvian album is the ****.

Lol why not? It's pretty serviceable. And I'm shamelessly a huge fan of Liam.

Melchior (Aufmarsch Der Schlampen) by Hirsche Nicht Aufs Sofa or "March of the Sluts". It's got Steven Stapleton feature on it for reference. a really fascinating (I mean that cover!) listen with influences from all over the aural map without sounding fragmented. You've got the more free-form komische, Renaldo & the Loaf (or The Residents for that matter)esque absurdity and pre-Dead C chopping drones all mixed into one with transitions that aren't clunky. If there's ever a worry of mine going into an album like this, it's that it sounds more like a collection of songs rather than an "album" as pretentious as that is. This one is surely the latter. The last track is probably my favorite, as well as being the longest one. It's a blissful spacey electronic piece that slowly deconstructs to a wonderful end. this album recommended for anyone who likes douchebag experimental sounds that makes one feel superior to others for their music preferences, like me. |

L'Orange - The Ordinary Man Good as you would expect from L'oman, but I feel like he's getting a little too comfortable with his style. I'd like to see him push his boundaries a bit more but if he doesn't, I'm fine with the downtempo jazzy production with infectious vocal splices that he's so good at.

Kamasi Washinton - Harmony Of Difference To think A Kamasi Washington record could be less than 3 hours still baffles me, but I'm truly impressed. We don't have many jazz greats these days but he is most definitely the best one.

As far as opening the floodgates for more people less versed in the world of jazz, Kamasi Washington really tapped that.
