Yep...been busy.

I have to say I'm really liking Porcupine Tree so far. Of course I've hardly been able to listen to a fraction of their discography as of yet, but Deadwing and In Absentia are impressive, IMO.

My new favourite poster. Deadwing is a brilliant album. 'Arriving Somewhere..' is their best tune by far.

Just bought:

The 13th Floor Elevators:
Psychadelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators

Havent listened to this yet much, "You're Gonna Miss Me" is classic however.

The Fall:
Hex Enduction Hour

...Wow. I had a compilation of The Falls that got me into them, I picked up "Saving Grace", which is kind of overrated and tough to listen to (although I like it), but this is great. This is the album I wanted to hear from The Fall, one that I can listen to front to back without too many low points.

The Soft Boys
Underwater Moonlight

This is really great as well, I've known "I Wanna to Destoy You" for a while, and to tell you the truth Ive been meaning to pick this up for a year-and-a-half or so. Im really glad I did, one of those albums with just enough songs you like on the first listen to make you put it on again, and each listen uncovers another track you really like. I think "Tonight" is the best song on here. They have really excellent backup vocals, showcased wonderfully in "Tonight". This may just compel me to delve into Robyn Hitch****'s solo work.

Jay Reatard
Blood Visions
I've been on a huge Jay Reatard kick lately, and this completes his discography for me, his first album. It might be my favorite, this is the record I always wanted The Adverts to make. He sounds just like them, only faster and the melodies are stronger. He even covers their song "We Who Wait", and you can really hear the similarities. "Fading All Away" is one of the best songs I've heard all year. Not longwinded either, only 1/2 hour of music over 15 tracks, and if there's one thing I love, its short songs. Its the only thing I like better than long songs.
