some really nice laid back abstract hip-hop that consistently hangs somewhere between between being really good and being great. the production is certainly the highlight on this thing, not sure if he makes his own beats or if he just has a great ear for instrumentals, but most of the tracks sound like the type of stuff i would of expect the guys from Hellfyre Club to rap over.

there's also a great skit about being asked to rap by a fan out in public that made me chuckle.
He makes his own instrumentals. This album is a great progression for him imo because in his old stuff, his flow got bogged down by strained wordiness (and I say that as a person who loves wordiness). He really seems to have improved his emceeing here.

This definitely lived up to my hype that I had for it. There are like one or two tracks that are kind of meh that I skip over every time but the majority of it is hot ****.

it's definitely been one of the stand-out hip-hop projects early on in the year.

Might be conveniently misremembering things, but did 2016 take this long to take off in terms of consistently amazing music? I feel like this year is lackluster in comparison so far.

nah I think 2016 was just a remarkable year. this year has been ok but it definitely fails to stand up to the last.

I didn't realize he finally had a full album out. I have to check that out. I like the songs I have by him.

I think rostasi might've posted this in another thread a while ago. Puts me in the mood to head down to the nearest strip joint/dive bar and knock back a few cold ones while the strippers do their thing as the music plays.

I can also imagine John Waters using some of these tunes in one (or more) of his movies.

I feel like Psy-Fi is either a pasty, fat, white guy or Lando Calrissian.

Nope, didn't heard about this one. However, is this album release yet?
