Peter Christopherson - Time Machines II (2014)

I still haven't figured out what the point of drone is, other than to be nice background music or white noise to sit and do other things to. This is that? It does that okay? At times it was a little too distracting, so maybe that makes it mediocre drone?

Turnover - Peripheral Vision (2015)

This was lovely, although it stands out in no way whatsoever from the rest of dream pop as a genre. So much of dream pop sounds exactly the same, but it's all lovely, if boring. I guess you could call it pedestrian. Still, it was nice enough.

As someone who loves drone music (and pretty much anything Christopherson touches) I couldn't tell you the point of drone either.

Haven't heard that one yet but the first Time Machines album by Coil aka Time Machines on that album is amazing, beautiful and very psychedelic.

Every time I've heard her on a feature I've been impressed, so I have high hopes for this mixtape.

I need to find this.

Theocracy - Ghost Ship (2016)

No idea when this was released or that it was being released. Looking forward to seeing how this is. I enjoyed Mirror of Souls and As The World Bleeds quite a bit, so perhaps this'll be just as good if not better? We'll see.

I forgot Akon existed. It was blissful ignorance.

You're reviewing Theocracy, right Batlord?

If I was dreaming up the most godawful genre I could it still wouldn't be as bad as Christian Power Metal

Christian metalcore.
