How weird, I was just watching Regina Spektor on Charlie Rose when I read this post.

Really love Suicide Note - You're Not Looking So Good

That's like Breather Resist with the toned down and subtle style if mathcore, which seems more geared to cranking out catchy stuff instead of WTF stuff. Slightly generic.

The Weeknd - Beauty Behind the Madness (2015)

I'm not big on songs about pussy, but there's a lot of really excellent stuff here. Sinfully catchy choruses. Pretty pro R&B/pop. Enough to make up for that one track about pussy-rain for sure.

And Also the Trees - Born into the Waves (2016)

Actually pretty boring despite my love of post punk. Oh well. There's lots else that's great.

You hear Starboy yet? I listened to Beauty Behind The Madness and loved it after my realization of loving Starboy.

Not yet. I really don't burn through discographies 'cause I don't want to get all the albums confused. Which is a stupid excuse, now that I've said it out loud.

That's reasonable. Though I can't quite figure out what it means since my mind is in another world. But whatever helps you listen to music.

Yeah thing is it doesn't actually help. I took my time with the Beatles but I still can't tell the difference between Revolver, Help, or Sgt. Peppers. Pretty much the only thing that guarantees I will enjoy a release is actually listening to it repeatedly, not "trying to savour the artist" or whatever I thought I was doing.

Anyways, I'll get around to it sometime. Faster, now that I know I like this release.

It's quite good, Starboy that is. I've had it on repeat for a few days.
