If you ever feel like you can't focus, any soundtrack from the Fallout games works wonders. Got an entire article done / proofread / edited this morning because of it. |

But from what little I've noticed (I also don't play much), it's mostly some wannabe epic classical, generic rock riffing or some third rate ambient. I'm sure there's also some cool, creative stuff out there though, but I'm mostly with you. |
I rarely listen to in game music, Fallout is an exception though since it has a killer soundtrack.

I haven't played fallout 4 yet, so I don't know about its sound track, but if it's anything like Fallout 3's soundtrack, it's nothing like other games. It has an amazing soundtrack.

This is from the Fallout 3 soundtrack. |
In all likelihood New Vegas may have inoculated me against old country. Who knows if I'd be on Patsy Cline's tits if not for listening to "Big Iron" 50 million times while creeping through that game.

The last album I listend to was my Robert Palmer Record :) (His first album)
I last got 2 records! 1) Robert Palmer - Squeezin' sally through the alley 2) REO Speedwagon - Lost in a dream |
A John Cage record from '63, a reading of Through the Looking Glass with a facsimile clothbound hardcover of the original first edition (to go with my reading of Alice), and I pledged a donation to Kickstarter sizable enough to earn me a copy of the 40th Anniversary "earthling edition" box set of Carl Sagan's Voyager Golden Record with an assortment of science-y*goodies.
