Hand that Heals / Hand that Bites by We Will Fail oh boy. so her last album, Verstorung was one of my absolute favorites of 2014, and now she's released this double album that I only just heard about today. I'm just about to start streaming it here and holy hell im excited. Verstorung still gets a great deal of play time from me, and it's every bit as mesmerizing as my first listen so I've got high hopes here. |

Sun Kil Moon - Benji
One of the few albums that has made me cry. Though I kept to myself, and for the most part was pretty coy I once got baited into clocking some undeserving boy Out on the elementary school playground I threw a punch that caught him off-guard and knocked him down And when I walked away, the kids were cheering And though I grinned, deep inside I was hurting But not nearly as much as I'd hurt him He stood up, his glasses broken and his face was red And I was never a schoolyard bully It was only one incident and it has always eaten at me I was never a young schoolyard bully And wherever you are, that poor kid, I'm so sorry |

Be my baby, the very best of the Ronettes
Phil Spector is pure genious. I'm not a big fan of Motown girl groups, but the sound is incredible.

^ @mordwyr regarding Benji: Carissa is one of the best songs I've ever heard. The feels.
I queued these today on Spotify: This is growing on me. Hard. Could end up being one of my favorites this year. He also puts on an illustrious live show. His most banger beats end up on this record, and if you fancy his soul-crushing croon, you'll love it. His longest record to date as well. Death Grips | Bottomless Pit I already had this leaked to my ITunes but I find it easier saved to my Spotify. It blew my mind the first few times I heard it, but I haven't picked it up since. I don't know what this means, but I'm gonna listen to it again today. It's good though, I think. Anohni | Hopelessness Yet to hear this, but from what Pitchfork and various other professional critics have said, it's supposedly worth listening too. I loved I Am A Bird Now when she was still with the Johnson's. That voice though is the best instrument in whatever music she does. Never fleshed out any of their other records in their back catalogue, but NME gave it a 5/5 so I must listen to it. I'm a slave to a few music critics, got a problem with that?
