Grateful Dead - Christmas is Dead - December '71 with the Grateful Dead
https://youtu.be/Z1bFBf3csvE

Fan made compilation of live performances from the Grateful Dead during the month of December, 1971. My favorite year for live Grateful Dead music.

Most overrated guitarist and band in the history of rock and roll. Take away the acid, and the late 60s time period mystic, and The Dead pretty much sucked.

I've given The Dead a chance at least half a dozen times and still can't get it. It's all about the 'click' as far as I can tell.

Houndtooth - Ride Out the Dark

Not at all what I was expecting from the name of the band.

Oneohtrix Point Never - Replica

At this point, every time I listen to a specific Lopatin record is the last time.

Volcano Choir - Repave

Gold, as is all Vernon's stuff.

Pearson Sound - REM

Meh.

Faded Paper Figures - Relics

Like a group hug.

The Police - Reggatta de Blanc

My wife has burned the scrambled eggs
The dog just bit my leg
My teenage daughter ran away
My fine, young son has turned out gay!

Townes Van Zandt - Our Mother the Mountain

Hat-tip: Batlord. (Also, Van Zandt looks just like my friend, Drew.

Sturgill Simpson - High Top Mountain

Lazy Sunday morning country.

Purity Ring - Another Eternity

Used this amazing album to wake me up this morning.

Farrah Abraham - My Teenage Dream Ended (2012)

I don't know if the video and picture will be posted. But I listed to
Velvet Underground & Nico, Talking Heads- Talking Heads: 77, Howlin Wolf-Howlin Wolf.
And a few others. I have bought any new albums lately though.

Of Monsters and Men - My Head is an Animal

Used this to wake my kids up this morning. One of their favorite albums.

Super Furry Animals - Rings Around the World

Good.

David Allan Coe - Rides Again

Brilliant! Just got into his stuff.

Lady Lamb the Beekeeper - Ripely Pine

Attitude in heartbreak.

Ex Hex - Rips

Really enjoyed the energy.

Tennis - Ritual in Repeat

Smooth.

^The last track is really something else and I think that on its own merit it's a really good record, but it's a big disappointment considering what I've come to expect from Sunn O))).
