Oh...gonna have to resist, I hate leaks. Even if I don't plan to buy a physical copy (I might get this one), I still like waiting till the actual release to listen to it.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Got these three today:

King Diamond - The Spider's Lullabye

I'm getting into Mercyful Fate/King Diamond album by album and I'm finding it more and more satisfying to listen to. The guitarists have been consistently amazing on all albums I have so far. This album is good too, although the production is pretty bad. From the Other Side is my new favourite KD/MF song.

Jenny Hval - Apocalypse, Girl

Some Norwegian singer I didn't know before I got this disc. Starts with a weird monologue about bananas and penises or something like that. Gets better from there. Sounds like a very creepy version of Kate Bush at times. I like it so far. Very creative, occasionally beautiful. I like her voice.

Joanna Newsom - Divers

Mind. Blown.
This is my new contender for album of the year, 2015. Still a lot of music to process before I make up my mind about that, but I wouldn't be surprised if this one sits at or near the top of my list when the year has passed. Such intricate instrumentation! Those vocal melodies! So many harps, pianos, hammonds, synths and mellotrons! And to think I used to dislike Newsom. I take it back.

Nevermore - Dreaming Neon Black (1999)

Always been one of my favorite Nevermore albums. Actually they're all pretty solid.

I'll tell you this, it's pretty damn good. I'd say much better than Beacons, but not as good as any of their classic albums. I'll be picking it up when it comes out.

Full agreement from me. Amazing stuff.

What I've been listening to recently:

Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti

I learn new things every time I hear this.

The Decemberists - Picaresque

They really ride the annoying line for me, but they fall JUST below it, so they're all right.

The Amazing - Picture You

Needs another listen.

Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Pictures at an Exhibition

They sure do love to show off.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu - Pikapika Fantajin

See you see you see you again!! See you see you see you next time!!

Four Tet - Pink

I used to understand this kind of music.

Jennifer Castle - Pink City

Chill.

Nick Cave - Pink Moon

Oh yes.

Shlohmo - Places

I still get this but may lose understanding soon.

Iceage - Plowing into the Fields of Love

It'd be better if he didn't sing the way he does.

I took my wife out for a love-hotel date to celebrate her 41st birthday. We had an amazing time, and she picked the music to bring. She chose, and we listened to:

Angus and Julia Stone - A Book Like This

Such a lovely bro-sis combo.

The Rolling Stones - Aftermath

The very definition of rock n roll.

Of Monsters and Men - Beneath the Skin

As good as My Head is an Animal.

Anais Mitchell & Jefferson Hamer - Child Ballads

Perfection.

Frank Black - Honeycomb

A must-hear.

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III

One of her favorites.

I agree 100%. I enjoyed earlier iceage but his vocals on the newer stuff just sound so forced and annoying.
