Hell yeah, man. Badass album by a badass dude. Are you a fan of the earlier album by chance? Or perhaps the bluegrass stuff he done before he became a solo act?

Sturgill and Jason Isbell came out on stage together one night last week, must have been a badass show live. Was pretty cool on video.

The only other album of his I've heard is High Top Mountain, which I love.


Moving on to next album today:

I liked this band the first time I heard them, but like turned to love when I saw this video of theirs.

What a voice. I'm not well versed in Soul music, but this has to be among the best albums ever recorded in the genre. And one of the greatest live albums ever, period. I've always loved live albums and this is one of the best I've heard.
