Pretty decent, more chug, some decent melodic moments. There are a few moments throughout the album that are generic (to me). Chord Progressions on 4:43 are really nice, but the tremolo picking with delay afterwards is something I'm tired of hearing. It's probably one of the most annoying post-rock tropes ever. |

The Passions (1954) - Les Baxter Featuring Bas Sheva https://youtu.be/Hj4ViVmVQ6Y Pretty wild compared to most of the Les Baxter albums I've heard. I can imagine a young Diamanda Galas being heavily influenced by this one. |

Suicide by Suicide Haven't listened to this in maybe 2 years but felt like maybe Id appreciate it more now as I had never been the biggest fan of it. I definitely like it more than I had previously, but I doubt itll ever be an absolute favorite of mine. "Frankie Teardrop" is clutch though. And I still really like the album art so theres that. |

Frankie Teardrop is definitely their best song. Che is one of my favourite as well, but I do think it sounds a little dated.

You can never go wrong with Physical Graffiti. I've found myself enjoying the debut more than I used to recently. I don't know what it was about it but I usually stayed closer to II and III. Being a blues fan, III will always be my favorite. Songs like Friends and Gallows Pole are just great when they play it. When the Levee Breaks on IV is another great blues cover.

I currently have Jason Isbell's - Something More than Free playing.
Previous to this though; I was giving the new Lucero a couple of spins. First impressions were good, and I think its going to grow on me even more with a couple more listens. |
