Pretty sweet deal. If you buy the new expanded Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers album on CD for $20 at Target, you can get a free vinyl copy mailed to your house. Thought there might be a few people interested.

Gira once describe Swans music as like a worm on an anvil being smashed with a hammer.....from the worm's perspective
Creepoid - Cemetery Highrise Slum saw that Exo mentioned them and i seem to remember liking an earlier release by them....this is my first 5 star album for this year....i honestly don't know what else to say...get this album...its really fucking good! Refused - Freedom fist album in 12 years from a band who...in my opinion...released one of the greatest hardcore/punk albums of all time....i'm going to go for a drive up to Lake Tahoe and only listen to this album....can't wait Girlpool - Before The World Was Big this band was played on an episode of Filmspotting....and the two songs they played were simplistic genius.....hope the remainder of the albums sticks to this Jenny Hval - Apocalypse Girl another album of the year for me....part spoken word part folky art pop....100% transgressive in nature and style.....LOVE this album |

Eh, didn't leave me quite as floored as Shape of Punk to Come. Then you have Dennis saying this and that about today's music, and it just pisses me off to think he has the gall to act like he's been doing nothing but progressing things. Ehhh, nah dude, this album is ok, but it's what I expected from a bunch of hardcore has beens. |

But yeah that albums definitely not more than fine, although I'd be very into "Francafrique" if it didn't sound so much like Faith No More/Red Hot Chili Peppers. |

It's been such a ****ing good year for music that I think that album won't make it into my top five and I love that album. I also really love the art work on The Ark Work.
