Donnie Trumpet & the Social Experiment - Surf (2015) : Chance the Rapper's touring band from what I hear. Mixed reviews but interested to hear what it has to offer.

Yeastie Girlz - Ovary Action (1988) : Pretty odd-ball acapella punk/hip hop.

the i.l.y's - I've always been good at true love (2015) : A Death Grips album, by all accounts. Noise Rock/synth. Pretty great.

Algiers - Algiers (2015) : Post-punk, industrial, gothic etc. I'm only hearing massive praise for this album. Super excited for it.

Gangsta Boo - Enquiring Minds (1998) and Both Worlds *69 (2001) : Boo 4 Lyf.

The Auteurs - The Auteurs vs µ-Ziq [remixes] (1994), After Murder Park (1996) and How I Learned to Love the Bootboys (1999) : How can I go wrong?

Quite a few have it as that.

Here's some more I just downloaded:

George Russell - Electronic Sonata for souls Loved by Nature (1969)
Horace Tapscott - The Giant is Awakened (1969)
Ronald Shannon Jackson & The Decoding Society - Nasty (1981)
Larry Coryell - Barefoot Boy (1971)

Basically a bit of a jazz marathon.

George Russell and RSJ are both awesome, especially that Russell album. Coryell can be fantastic too, but also very hit and miss. I haven't heard that record but if it lets you down you should listen to Spaces.

Current 93 - Soft Black Stars
Current 93 - I Am the Last of All the Field That Fell: A Channel
Current 93 - Swastikas For Goddy

Les Rallizes Dénudés - '77 Live
Popol Vuh - Hosianna Mantra

My right ear went completely deaf from some possible blockage I wasn't able to remove a couple weeks ago, and now today there was an intense throbbing like a heartbeat in the general area around where it happened and blood was falling from my ear with a weird pain and temporary deafness again. I hope this isn't related to tinnitus... I keep getting a loud ringing in either ear that makes me completely deaf for a bit as it slowly fades away as well. Gah.

Death Grips - The Powers That B.

Every time they seem about to settle into a groove they lurch off and spaz away from it. Biggest gripe so far. Otherwise some very cool stuff going down.

Don't expect them to rely on repetition (not that that's a bad thing) and it'll work out. Somewhat surprised and glad that you like it though.
