Levitation Room - Minds of Our Own (2015)

https://levitationroom.bandcamp.com/...nds-of-our-own

Neato psychedelic rock/pop and almost surfy steez here. Fits right in with the likes of Satan's Pilgrims and The Hiya Dunes.

Hop Along - Painted Shut

This was my most anticipated album of 2015. It lived up to my every expectation. Just a wild, emotion packed rock record. Frances' voice is so powerful.

^ Hell fucking yeah. I was just about to look up some newer releases to see if they were out yet, and that's on the list.

Mew - + - (2015)
Streaming this now. I should probably be doing so using headphones for more enjoyment but I'm working from home today and I just don't wear headphones at home. Well so I don't know what to say about it yet, as I'm not even halfway through. If anything it's going to be a grower. Their last one was so-so with a few great songs, I don't have great expectations yet I'm still taking the time to listen.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

ive always thought that Mew was just better at being a singles band. Like some songs are killer but others I skip if im listening to a full album. heard this new one once and basically had the same experience. can see some songs getting regular rotation while others ill never listen to again.

Everyone's opinions will differ, but I consider Mew to be a superior, proggier version of Sigur Ros. As far as album experiences go, +- has been top class for me.

Arcturus - Arcturian (2015)

Pretty much one of the big albums I am looking forward to it.

Listening for a second time now, this time using headphones, and it's pretty good. With a few more listens I think I could really appreciate it, even if it doesn't reach the levels of their past 3 albums.

I've never actually listened to Sigur Ros but that seems like a bold statement!
