Some more Black Dog, "Spanners" specifically. Also, pretty much whatever Rephlex had left in their store by Pierre Bastien I bought up, this DVD was included in his last album. Edit: Needed more pulleys and motors. |

Portishead - Dummy I've always loved this album, but apparently I was missing 3 whole tracks from it the whole time I've been putting it on (THANKS, SPOTIFY.) I was obviously very upset at first, and afterwards very excited... Now I'm realizing this is one of my favorite albums of all time. This band has one of the most consistent discographies I've ever seen. I love how it's eerie/melancholy and relaxing/beautiful at the same time. This is gonna be my life soundtrack for awhile now. |

That isn't saying much, that records mediocre at best.

I've listened to Dummy more than any other, but I've been listening to Third quite often as of late. I proclaim a tie until I get a definite grasp of all three. Third is probably going to wind up as my favorite, though.

Azymuth - Light As A Feather Discovered this thanks to my man Jade_City after he played 'Fly Over The Horizon' in plug. This album is amazing. I managed to find it online btw Peace - Happy People Seen this is at number 12 in the album charts in the UK, I thought their last album was alright so got this. It's OK, if you like the 90's Britpop thing you might like it. Doubt I'll listen to it again though. Mastodon - Leviathan This is excellent. Got their whole discography. 5* will listen again. |

Anyway. Andy Stott, Faith in Strangers Dark ambient, minimalist techno, deep dub tendencies. This sits somewhere between evil and uplifting, or maybe it's like sitting at a forgotten lake in the winter contemplating life, or just jumping in and drowning. I'll be listening again. Edvard Grieg, Lyric Pieces Volume 2 I was in the mood for some solo classical piano. Grieg was Scandinavian and a lot of his works are marches, which I'm not too fond of, but much of this album was quiet and studious, or at least quick and friendly, like twittering birds at the very start of a still-cold springtime. Don't know if I would listen again any time soon, but I enjoyed it. Phillip Glass, Solo Piano I don't think I have to summarize this for anyone. It's repetitive, it's melodramatic, it's Phillip Glass.
