Snarky Puppy. Turned onto them in Plug over the weekend. GREAT stuff.

The Eagles - Desperado These are the best band I've discovered recently, love the stuff I've heard so far. Slipknot - .5: The Gray Chapter I haven't listened to this yet but it's meant to be good. Soda Stereo - Nada Personal Upon first listen this sounds as good as anything they've ever done (that I've heard). Tove Lo - Queen of the Clouds Discovered this thanks to the 'Dude playing a track in plug. This is a fun album, gonna give it a few more spins. Think that's it for the moment, aside from albums I've already posted like Computers and Blues & RTJ2. |

Really into Conor Oberst lately, more so than my usual Bright Eyes binge.. IMO our generations Dylan.
S/T I can't stop listening to this, so I guess it's my favorite of his solo records. Fevers & Mirrors - Bright Eyes This albums a little tricky. At first it seems too challenging and difficult to get into, but after 4 listens or so it REALLY hit me. Love it Half of this album filler, the other half some great fucking songs. Recommended. This has never enthralled me, too drab, even for Conor/Bright Eyes standards.

Haazz & Company - Unlawful Noise About an hour of free jazz that's pretty relentless even by the genre's standards. I enjoyed it for what it is and might give it a replay soon.

I'm sure I've heard of them before. Think they did an album called 'War Room' (2013). They're an interesting band I must admit. The war room album makes you feel like you're back there in the 1920's n 30's. |
