I'd personally hesitate to call Catherine Wheel shoegaze, because they are much more rock-tinged, but they are my favourite if anybody wants to lump them in.

Oh yeah, I do love them too. Definitely up there with the three ultra-famous shoegaze bands that I mentioned.

Radiohead - The Bends

I have this pattern where I listen to Radiohead and then I'm like oh **** this is good why don't I listen to it more and then I forgot and next month I do the same thing.

This album is fantastic.

Dark Roots of Earth, Souls of Black, The New Order, and The Legacy.
