Mole City - Quasi
Haven't listened to it in full yet, but I like what I'm hearing so far! Quasi have been kinda hit and miss for me, but the hits are proper hits. The cover of "Don't Stop Me Now" is particularly interesting.

The new Dylan suprised me it was really pretty, all old crooner songs done in a country style. Oh and the new Lupe album was really awesome as well. |

I hear he covers only Sinatra songs? If so I'm fucking down for that.

John Carpenter - Lost Themes (2015) I had no idea John Carpenter made the scores to his own movies, but god damn the man has a real talent for music. It's been a lot of fun listening to this album and picturing the kind of movie that would match the music. If you're in the mood for '80's snyth and blaring electric guitar solos this album definitely provides. I'd love to see him do a collaboration album with Powerglove. |
