Grabbed this off a friend's top 10 albums of 2014. I like it, really good percussion and bass-driven sound.

you got a cool friend. top 5 for me as well. love GTT

Stoned & Dethroned by Nacho Picasso & Blue Sky Black Death

I fukcing hated their first album together, mostly because I think Nacho is a terrible rapper. but im a sucker for BSBD so I figured may as well see if this was better. so far.. its not. maybe the instrumental would be cool but meh. why cant BSBD just collab with good rappers its frustrating.

Nothing gets me more stiff than lending new music to other members.

Was on my turntable for a few hours, and I downloaded in FLAC and snozed off to it last night. Really great stuff.

The more I listen to this album, the more I think OPN is a genius. Lovely, lovely samples arranged in really interesting ways, my coworker asked me what the genre was called... I didn't have an answer...

I haven't picked up on any of those bands when listening to Ought. The Fall, maybe. I find Ought's vocals a bit grating though, they don't sit well with me. Same with Cloud Nothing, meh. Both bands sound interesting musically but fall short in the vocal department. They sound like they mean it, but they irritate me.

Bauhaus - Burning From the Inside (1983)
Finally got around to playing this one, the fourth in their discography and the fourth I've listened to. Really liked it overall.

That and In the Flat Field are my favorites from them. I'm surprised you had never listened to it before!
