Quite honestly one of my all-time favourite albums. Each piece is unique, but they still flow together beautifully. I also own the sheet music and can play every single song. Gorgeous and relaxing piano work.

Not on mine, at any rate.

I listened to that not too long ago. Super super good. I was not expecting much going into it, and was definitely impressed.

Clearly, I support all this. RTJ2 is one of the best of the year, that Rage album is a classic, and you had never listened to Goo or NTB?! I can forgive the first one (although it's a great record), but holy crap man, Sex Pistols is required listening!

Clifford Brown—Brownie Eyes
Another record I've had for quite a while but haven't been able to listen to due to lack of a turntable. It's just a posthumous collection made many years after his death but it's still some pretty good bop. I especially enjoyed side two, which is more on the mellow side and really suits the mod I'm in.

Electronic - Electronic

Two of my favorite musicians from two of my favorite bands in Johnny Marr and Bernard Sumner. This did not disappoint. Sumner's acid house dance music/pop elements and Johnny Marr's guitar blend wonderfully.

Bastro - Rode Hard and Put Up Wet
This sounds so much like Big Black. But it sounds as close to Big Black an anything but Big Black so I am enjoying it.

The Coachmen - Failure To Thrive
Thurston Moore's first band. It's not anything spectacular, but very interesting to hear his musical roots.

I like that album just for "Medication", but I think all of their albums (with the exception of the one that's just boring blooz stuff) are great, especially Let it Come Down and Songs in A&E. But then again, Ladies and Gentlemen is possibly my favorite album ever, so of course I love them.

Ninetales 01-06-2015 06:58 PM

I think Lazer Guided Melodies would easily be my second fav album of theirs. Let it Come Down and A&E were always albums I was pretty meh on tbh. haven't heard the latter in a while tho
