Again proof that the English shouldn't rap. And somehow her jungle beats landed on top ten lists across the world.

I downloaded the new Shwayze album (before it's even been released I'm pretty sure). Even thought they're MTV-babies, their sound is pretty catchy and they have a style unlike alot of others. Good stuff to chillax to.

That's a great album. Despite what someone else just said here, I think it's another example of why I feel like the most interesting takes on rap are happening outside the US.

My most recent purchase was You Think You Really Know Me by Gary Wilson. Weird 70s porno-ish music with an experimental edge self recorded in Gary's parents' basement in 1977. It was just re-released a couple years ago. I highly recommend it, though it's definitely not for all tastes.

From The Cradle - Eric Clapton (goooood!)
Sweet Warrior - Richard Thompson (seems like a grower so far)

LAND...Patti Smith
Chronicle (hits)...Creedence Clearwater Revival
A Treasury...Nick Drake
12:00 curfews...Indigo Girls

Utterly sublime albums!

Never Mind The Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols. It's a pretty good album I guess, but alot of the songs sound the same...
