Those are the five I started with. Why do you listen to stuff alphabetically?

Really? I can barely get through Dirty. A couple good songs, but it's too long and I don't care about most of it. As I've probably made clear above, I think Goo is way better in terms of their poppier stuff. "Dirty Boots" and "Mote" are easily better than anything on Dirty.

Anyway, just going to give another shout-out to Confusion is Sex and Washing Machine - they're both incredible albums and, I think, easily SY's best that aren't part of the aforementioned "holy trinity".

"Dirty Boots" is on Goo, first track.

Oh, I meant better than anything on Dirty - which makes way more sense considering I'm saying Goo is the better album. I'll fix that - thanks for spotting it. :)

Probably jut because it was the first one I heard all the way through.

Because there's no way for me to sensibly listen to all the stuff I have and keep getting. I don't put any artist before another because I give all music an equal chance at least on a first listen. Therefore, since all music is equal to me on a first listen, alphabetical is my only option.

Of course, often things pop up in the queue that I've heard before, but that's because they've stayed in my queue because I like them. I still don't want to give old favorites preference over new stuff, or vice versa.

Huh. So, and I'm probably just asking because this is how I deal with my list of albums to listen to, why not chronological order?

Zhanteimi 12-28-2014 09:18 PM

Since my music player has everything sorted in alphabetical order by album, this is the easiest way to transfer music to my Walkman. Besides, chronological would be dull for me, since my playlist wouldn't be as various in sound and style.

Makes sense. Thanks for explaining.
