This might be favorite Death Grips release, just hoping disc two is better so that "The Powers that B" becomes my favorite DG record.

Anywho

Just for whatever it's worth, you can get around the censorship by putting (with no spaces) around a letter. It's the same principle as italicizing one letter - you only get censored if there's no formatting between letters, but that formatting doesn't have to actually do anything. So setting the color of one letter to black or setting the size of one letter to 2 will avert the censorship but your text will look the same because those are the defaults.

For example: Fuck off.

Not sure if it would work in an image url, though.

Exactly. The image URL gave me asterisks, which meant it wouldn't display my picture properly.

this is terribly impractical but I couldn't think of a better way to start my collection.

If you don't have an 8-track tape player yet (and you're not already aware of this) you can look forward to the program changes which often occur in the middle of songs. Sometimes the song fades out before the change and fades back in after the change, and sometimes the change happens abruptly without warning. One of several reasons I gave up on the format rather quickly back in the day.

Aesop Rock - Fast Cars, Danger, Fire and Knives (2005)

I guess this is all right, but, actually, I don't really know. I mean, I think I'm losing or have lost my grip on hip-hop. There used to be a time when I'd eat up Outkast, 2Pac, and Eminem, but now I can barely comprehend what is being said in rap. The only track I understood on this album was Track 4. I dug Track 5, but only because of the imagery. I think rap and I are about to part ways. I still like a bit of rap embedded in other music, like Speakerboxx or Hokey Fright, but an album of nothing but rap--I don't get it anymore.

Public Enemy - Fear of a Black Planet (1990)

I'm not giving up on rap, nor do I despise it. Although this is my first time to listen to this album (I thought it appropriate considering all the racial unrest Stateside now), I get this.

That to me is a case of liking a great album more than a far worse one :) And I did warn you! :P

Ben Howard - I Forget Where We Were (2014)

I really liked this sound.
