These guys clearly have no idea what it means to be spiritualized, but I dig their albums.
Both Pierce and Kember have been doing the same schtick for way too long, but I really liked this album.

The Police - Synchronicity (1983)

I'm guessing it's been over a decade since I've listened to this. Musically, it's great, but lyrically Sting is full of shit. Oh boo hoo! You can't turn the other cheek because it's bruised and torn? You must have a backache sleeping on a mattress made of the millions you've earned. Oh boo hoo! You criticize the fat man in his garden with a thin man at his gate? I don't see you giving away all your money to help the poor.

Aphex Twin - Syro (2014)

Finally!

Paysage d'Hiver - Einsamkeit. Listened like 5 times this week, my favorite pure ambient release from a black metal band, unless you count Songs of Grief and Solitude by Drudkh as ambient.

These Arms Are Snakes - Tail Swallower and Dove
Type O Negative - October Rust
Buster Poindexter - Buster's Happy Hour
Feederz - Ever Feel Like Killing Your Boss?
Painkiller - Guts of A Virgin
Raspberry Bulbs - Privacy
Havohej - Dethrone the Son of God
Hail Marry Mallon - Bestiary
Thorns - Trøndertun & Grymyrk
Alice in Chains - Black Gives Way to Blue
Burzum - Det Som Engang Var
Raspberry Bulbs - Finally Burst... With Fluid
Raspberry Bulbs - Dust in the Fallen Face

I have a journal where I reviewed the Naked City album. Isn't it awesome?!
