Primordial - Where Greater Men Have Fallen (2014)
Their previous album, 2011's Redemption at the Puritan's Hand, didn't really grab my attention much. This however left a greater impact on me on first listen. The band haven't really altered their Celtic-influenced metal sound too much over the past few releases but they sound like they are doing much the same thing here only better. It might not be as good as To The Nameless Dead but a couple more plays will reveal more.

Yes! One of my favorites.

I'm enjoying that album quite a bit, a few more listens and it might even be my metal album of the year.

Son House though, man.

Son House is incredible, don't get me wrong, but I think Howlin' Wolf has a little bit more variety. I love old blues and all, but the downfall is the utter sameness of so much of the music. I feel like Wolf does a lot of different things, or as many different things as you can do with a genre like the blues... also, God do I love the man's voice.

I hear ya, I love Wolf too. Son House just really boils down the essence of delta blues for me in such a passionate way, which makes him my favourite blues artist (well, second if you count the Captain).

I've been obsessed with electro-chiptune-punk shit lately, and who does that better than Math The Band?
