MF Doom - OPERATION: DOOMSDAY

Decided to check out more rap/hiphop stuff since I have close to none minus Death Grips (which I love.)

It's just not my cup of tea for some reason. It's not even something I'd particularly enjoy having on in the background. It doesn't mean it's bad, it's just really not my style. When it comes to rap I think it needs to be extremely heavy music with insane drums and vocals full of energy for me to enjoy it. Maybe it's more of an acquired taste.

OPERATION: DOOMSDAY took a while to grow on me as well. I still think that Madvillainy and JJ DOOM are much better DOOM projects.

The last time I bought music was a couple of weeks ago and I caved and got a whole bunch at once:
Like...Alaska - On Against Want
Trophy Eyes - Mend, Move On
Ne Obliviscaris - Citadel
The Smith Street Band - Throw Me in the River
Royal Blood - Self-titled

It was a good afternoon of listening

Really enjoying this. Heard about her through various other artists I listen to.
