^ The Endless River is pretty good for what it is. People looking for something closer to the old school vocal-oriented Floyd fix, however, might want to check out the self-titled by Northlands that came out recently. Its real high up on my own list this year, and also recommended if you like Camel, early Genesis or anything Alan Parsons has been involved with.

The words "Alan" and "Parsons" sold me. I'll give it a shot.

Lisa Hannigan - Sea Sew (2008)

I really like her pleasant sound. Just a lovely voice.

"Lost Cause" is such a great song and so heartbreaking. I had never seen the video before, thanks for posting it!

Cleaners from Venus - Under Wartime Conditions (1984)

The most recent pick for the Music Banter Psychlub. Found a blog with the original cassette release, so I downloaded it to give it a listen.

It's pretty good, but there's a lot of filler tracks and none of the tracks with emcees are anything special. I like the jazzier tracks a lot more than the more psychedelic oriented ones.
I've been wanting to hear it since he updated about the release on FB. Thanks for the post. Now I can feel less bad about procrastinating.

Mount Eerie - Black Wooden Ceiling Opening

I have yet to check out Mount Eerie extensively (odd considering my love for The Microphones) but after listening to this album I'm definitely going to do it. I love how heavy these tracks get. I wasn't expecting that at all from Elverum, at least not an entire album's worth. Love it to death like everything he does and all the people he collabs with.
