^

They were featured on a Shiina Ringo EP that I downloaded a few days ago. Good track.

She's sung on a couple of their albums.
Never heard any of her own material, might have to fix that.

I've been on a huge chill/ambient instrumental kick. I've been digging through everything on this youtube member's("The Psychedelic Muse") playlist for the past 2 weeks:

At first it was a new direction I was iffy about, but Totems Flare from 2009 really seems to bring together everything I like about his style. Empty the Bones of You and Body Riddle are also favorites, though some of his best tracks to me are found on EPs (mainly Throttle Furniture, Throttle Clarence, and Throttle Promoter).

I dug this immediately, but when he tastefully sampled some Elliott Smith, I was sold.

I love everything Kishi Bashi has done so far, especially his debut, 151a. This, Lighght, is his newest, and it's amazing. My birthday present to myself!

Bobbing head, boogie-ing in my seat as I work. Nice pace setter for the day.

Cerebral Fix - Tower Of Spite. With their second album, crossover thrash/death metal band Cerebral Fix make way for dooooom. This is essentially a pure death/thrash record with a bit of doom metal.

Wow! This was so good, I downloaded it and reviewed it right away.

AxeGrinder is also kewl.

I got that a little while ago and haven't quite been able to get into it, but I think I just need to find the right mood to listen to it in.
